The Sickies
Jackson caught a flu bug a few weeks ago and so of course Cameron got it too! We sure love to share germs around here!
Luckily it was only a 2 day deal and he was back to his old self. He was so upset that I wouldn't let him eat his normal food (he was on the B.R.A.T. diet). The morning after he felt better he woke up asking for every different kind of food we had in the kitchen. He was crazy....."I want a bagel and cream cheese, grapes, no pancakes!, yogurt, an apple, oatmeal, and toast with cheese, I mean oranges!" It was much nicer to have a puker kid that was old enough to understand "STAY ON THE COUCH" and "THROW UP IN THE BOWL".

Father's Day 2011
We had a fun Father's Day. We celebrated my daddy, Jerry, Halsy, and Austin. I was especially excited to give Halsy his gift because it was a big surprise and a big effort!
I sent out emails a month ahead of time asking if family wanted to go in on helping me get an adjusting table for him. So far - he has been adjusting us on the ottoman :) I got so much response and I was thrilled! The Table I was eyeing was at Halsy's school and sold for $350.00. I had enough people that I would only have to spend around $140.00 to get it, so it was still not going to happen. Just before I called the bookstore, a thought came to my head to check craigslist one more time. I ALWAYS check craigslist for tables and they are never there. If they are they are too ancient to be useful or way to expensive. However, just my luck an ad had just been posted by a couple in Sellwood. They graduated from Halsy's school a few years ago and don't use their portable adjusting table any more. They were selling it for $250.00 I worked her down to $225 if I came the next day to get it!! I was so excited!! Over a hundred dollars less than the other one. Now I could afford it!! I raced there the next day and was pleased to see it was in wonderful condition and the couple was very adorable!
I hid it until the big day and then sent him on a scavenger hunt to find it! He LOVED it and we busted it out right there to get the "real thing". It was perfect!

Swimsuit Debut
The sun finally came out! The kids were so excited to bust out their swimsuits and get wet! This was the best picture I could get of all the Morin cousins - they couldn't stand still!
I love her chubby legs!!
Finn loved putting his feet in and I couldn't keep Katey Jane out of the water!
Jackson and Cameron are such big boys! They were taking their dinosaurs for a swim.
We headed for the trampoline but needed to take a rest on the grass!

Where's the baby?
Katey Jane fell asleep in the car right as we were pulling into the grocery store - we were not about to turn around!! So I made a little bed for her in the cart and she STAYED ASLEEP through almost the entire trip!! I just thought it was so cute to see her little shoes and bow sticking out both ends! I kept dreaming that I was sleeping so soundly in a soft bed about then. :)
Katey Jane is officially WALKING
14 months old and cruisin'!!!!! She started in short distances...........
And now we have a completely walking baby! No more crawling around here!!

Happy Birthday Max!
My friend Kendra threw a birthday party for her 2 yr old Max! Jackson and Cam were on the invite list. Kendra is one of those amazingly talented people - at so many things! She made trains soooooo cool! They boys had such a good time - KJ too!
Jackson pulled Katey Jane all along the track!
CHOO CHOO!
The boys had such a good time - thank you Kendra and Happy Birthdya Max!
Swimming Lessons for Cameron
Cameron was so excited for swimming lessons! He got ready in a snap and was so happy to get buckled up to go!!
they make you shower before entering the pool, which would be okay for any normal little kid. But, as many of you know, Cameron is far from normal!! :) He is so small and that little amount of water made him so cold! You have to walk out to the pool from the shower and by halfway - he had stopped because he was shivering - so we needed the towel before he was even done with the lesson!
He LOVED it! He went right in and was all about it! His teacher was very nice and it was a small group so I felt like Cam got enough attention to learn something!
Oooooooweeeee was he cold! He barely made it to the parent's area before he froze!
Mmmmmmm it felt good to get warm!
Katey Jane and Brady were so good to hang while Marissa and I chatted and watched!
On the last day of lessons they go to go on the big slide with their teacher! Cameron was so brave and he really liked it - he went three times!!
A big Cheesy grin for Mommy as he waited for another turn!
He was so proud of his certificate - I think he was most excited about the free ice cream cone they give out! We went straight to McDonalds to turn that on in!!
I had a lot of fun watching him be such a big boy!
Sunny Days are here!
Katey Jane just laughs and laughs - I think it tickles her tummy!
Couldn't get them off the swings if we tried!!
Seattle or Bust - Cody's Homecoming!
We went as a family to see my cousin come home from his mission in Texas! The drive went as well as it could have with kiddos in the car and we had such a good time seeing family!
KJ is such a sweetie pie!! She was soo good!
Cameron spent most of the time talking - hrm what shock!
Mom and Katelyn bringin' up the rear!
We walked down from Justin and Cassand'ra's apartment to see Pike's Fish Market. Cameron loved the HUGE fish!
You'd think we had arrived on another planet. My kids didn't know what to think about all the cars, signs, buses, noises, tall buildings, steaming grates, etc. It was sensory overload for sure!!
Oh man were they excited to get out of the car!
After we got Cody - we went out to Bj's for dinner together. the food was so yummy and I always love hanging with family!
We got home way too late and were soooo tired - but it was very worth it! We got to see family that we hadn't in a while and just enjoy eachother!
