Little things I don't want to forget

KJ always takes her shoes off in the van. Drives me crazy!

Cameron's face when he is embarrassed, priceless!

Kj's accent when she talks.

Cameron makes the best funny faces! He had me rolling at bedtime tonight.

Kisses from my little red lipped babies! Oh I hope I will get so many more, I adore them.

KJ's love affair with her binky.

The endless amount of laundry and folding tiny clothes.

Doing Katey Jane's hair. Today she let me blow it dry and flat iron it. When I was done she looked in the mirror and said "it looks like Tangled". I died.

Falling in love with Landon. He is wrapping me tighter and tighter around his chubby little finger. His smiles and cooing make my day!

Cameron's love of photography. He loves to take my phone and take pictures of anything and everything around the house. He is actually getting pretty good.

Watching KJ eat. She truly enjoys every bite!

Watching my kids with my mom. She is such a wonderful GG. We are so blessed to live here and my kids get to be loved so much. She teaches me a lot too, such good advice!

Reading books together.

Saying prayers while holding hands. It brings a little joy tonight prayers at night, especially for me.

Listening to Cameron play alone in the other room.

How much my kids LOVE bath time.

The smell of baby soap and kid toothpaste.

May I never forget :)

This made me laugh......Oh, motherhood!

http://www.thebabablog.com/article/2012/10/03/steps-to-follow-before-you-decide-to-have-kids

I Love being a mother and it feels so wonderful when someone can put into workds what it is like everyday. The ups, the downs, and all the in between. I wouldn't trade my time with my kids for anything.

Who knew

I have used the same pacifiers with both my older kids, but Landon has his own opinion. From day one he hated them. He liked the ones they have at the hospital. I have always hated them, they are so weird looking. It is hard not to look in their little mouth hole and watch them suckle.

I must say I am now converted. I love puting my pinky finger in there and letting him gum it while he is going to sleep. Also, he is so darn cute with it, who knew? :)

2 month old boy!!

Our little, well not so little Landon man is 2 months old! We are so excited that you are growing up so quickly. You are my biggest baby yet and we are in love with your rolls! We love your double chin, your wrist lines, and your leg chub. You love to eat and are such a happy baby. You are sleeping much more day and night - and I LOVE that!

We went to see Dr. Palmer yesterday and here are your latest stats:

Height: 23 1/2" (65th percentile)
Weight: 12lbs 14.2 oz (75th percentile)
Head: 15 3/4" (50th percentile)

You have broken the mold for the Carter kids! You are the heaviest and tallest at this age! It is so fun to have a roly poly baby. When we hold you facing out - your head is so heavy it droops from the weight of your cheeks.
You have started to smile and coo at us and we LOVE every second.
You have the bluest eyes and the most beautiful skin. You are very handsome and you look the most like your daddy of everyone so far!
You are a sleeping champ - you go to bed at 10 and sleep until 3am (5 hours!) then you go back to sleep until 7am (4 more hours!)
You are allergic to Lactose. For the first few weeks you had lots of tummy aches and you cried a lot! You had trouble sleeping and you were very constipated. A friend at church suggested I try taking dairy out of my diet. I LOVE dairy, but if it would help I thought i'd give it a try. After 3 days the difference was apparent!! You were a new man. Tummy aches gone, poopy diapers galore, and lots of sleepy time. We were so happy that you were happy. I sure miss Milk - but I will get it back soon :)

you love to take baths! when you hear the water running you stop crying and you are so happy during the entire bath.

I love to hear your little nioses while you nurse and my favorite is when you find your binky.....Ohhhh it melts my heart.

You are now wearing size 2 diapers!! Size 3 month clothing (but they are getting tight) and you just moved into 6 months pajamas!! Way to go buddy.

We could never think of a nickmake before you were born, but someone started by calling you Lando and it totally stuck!

Chubby baby

1 month old and so happy! We love having Lando in our family!!

Bye bye Altima

We let my brother borrow our car to go pick up his girlfriend - despite his horrible driving record and judgement history - and this is what we got. He was following to close and couldn't stop fast enough and rear ended another car, totalling our car. The best part of the story is we had just paid it off months before this. Luckily no one was hurt in the accident, that way we could focus all our anger on Matt :) He felt awful you could tell, but we couldn't tell if it was because he wrecked our car or if it was because he now had to pay our $1000 deductible. We got a rental car for Halsy and played the waiting game to see what our Altima would be valued at so we could get a replacement. We were offered $7800 (a fair deal). We are currently on the hunt, but miss our beautiful Altima that was going to last us another 5 years.

Goodbye Altima - you were a great car. You hardly made a fuss and ran like a champ. You got Halsy to and from school for years and you were our good looking date night car! Thanks for the memories -we wil miss you!!

Intern in the house!

Halsy officially never has to drive to Gresham for classes again!! We only have to go back for graduation in December. He had a two week break and last week he started his internship in Wilsonville. He gets to work with Dr. Coral and he really likes him so far. He has already gotten to treat some patients. He has his own "office" and starting monday - he will get all the new patients that come into the office. He is learning so much already. In school they don't teach too much about "how" the office should be run - so that has been the most beneficial part of this experience so far. Halsy is really enjoying it and we are excited to be moving forward.

The next step if for Halsy to find a job. Dr. Coral is not currently in the market for an associate - so the hunt is on for us. We are trying to stay local because we love our life here, but we shall see what Heavenly Father has in store for us!

No more milk please

Thanks to the suggestion of a friend, I have become lactose free, and Landon is a new man!

He wasn't sleeping well and had lots of tummy aches. My fried heard him grunting and suggested something that worked for her daughter. I was functioning on very little sleep and was willing to try anything. I LOVE milk and was sad to say goodbye, but it has been well worth it.

He is a different kid. He sleeps better at night, he is happy and content during the day, he nurses better, and the list could go on and on.
