Cameron
Cameron turned 5 in April! He is such a grown up kid. He is so helpful and super energetic. We would make millions if we could bottle all that energy and sell it. We have a lot of fun together.
Cameron's new stats:
3 ft 4 inches (10th percentile)
36 lbs (10th percentile)
Still a shrimp, but consistency is what matters I guess.
He graduated preschool and he did so well. I will miss all his little friends and the other teachers. We've decided to do home school this fall - and we will see how it goes. Cameron is a little bummed about not going to Kindergarten like the other kids, but I think he'll come around. He is so dang smart. He is always thinking of something, especially when it comes to being devious. He has hit quite a deviant streak and man is he good at it. Cameron can spin a story with the best of them. We are working on it, but it sure is hard. He loves to do artwork, he loves to play with any kind of weapon, he loves Power Rangers, he loves Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and he loves to be outside. He turns almost everything into a weapon (especially swords). I am constantly amazed at the sticks he finds outside, I am always telling him that he needs to go put that one back because it is "too sharp" or "too jagged" or "You could really hurt someone". He takes really good care of his brother; always there to help me by getting diapers/wipes, singing him a song, distracting him, etc. He is so awesome. Cameron is so sweet. He is always making me pictures, bringing me flowers, telling me (and KJ too) that we look pretty, and giving me hugs and kisses. He makes us feel loved by his cuddles too. He has learned to ride a bike with no training wheels! We are so impressed. He is such an athlete - we can't wait to watch him play sports when he's older. We are even thinking about putting him in Parkour (free running) stuff because he is so brave and he has really good body control. He is always jumping off stuff, climbing higher, running faster, and finding some new way to be awesome :)
Katey Jane
Our Katey Jane has grown so much in the last little while. She is a young lady for sure!
KJ turned 3 this year and she has gained some major sass to go with it. Here are her new stats:
3 ft 1 1/4 inches (50th percentile)
30 lbs (25th percentile)
We are so in love with this girl. She makes our lives interesting for sure. She is our girliest of girls; she loves dress up, make up, fingernail polish, earrings, ruffles, etc! I love that she also loves to get dirty! She has become an amazing artist and can now draw faces and bodies (and they look like people!!) She loves to color and draw and paint. We might have a little monet in the making? She loves to LAUGH and boy does she have a laugh! It is worth every ounce of effort to make her laugh because she gives the best and fully committed belly laugh. Her favorite person would have to be GG. She adores her and follows her everywhere. I sure have fun with my little girl. I am happy that she still lets me dress her and do her hair (mostly). KJ loves to play with her big brother and cousins. She is always the Pink power ranger (hey, if you can't beat em' right?) in their games. She is in a tough spot with all these big boys around. We always send them off to play so excited and within minutes you hear screaming/crying and its usually Katey Jane. Those big mean boys! But we don't worry too much - she has enough attitude to put those guys in their places. She is my biggest eater by far. She LOVES to eat eat EAT! She is always asking for a treat or a snack or when the next meal is :)
Landon
Landon just turned one! Here are his latest stats:
Weight: 21 lbs 7 oz (40th percentile)
Height: (70th percentile)
Head: 19 inches (80th percentile)
Landon is that happiest and sweetest baby I've ever met. He makes being a mommy so easy! If every baby was like him I would have 10 kiddos! He is such a cuddle bug and he loves to laugh! He is a good eater and a great sleeper too. He loves to eat whatever we are eating, but his favorites are:
cottage cheese, string cheese, hot dogs, grapes, pickles, bread, applesauce, and of course milk (formula is still his favorite, but we are slowly weaning to whole milk). He is the fastest crawler! He does a bear crawl everywhere - no knees for this kid. He has started to walk this past week. He can take 4-5 steps before he falls! He really wants to walk so bad and just keeps trying. We call him the drunken monkey when he walks. He loves to go outside and speeds to any open door and is so disappointed when he is caught. He loves to talk to us. He mostly sayd: Da, Do, Dah, or some form of those syllables, but he can say Mama, Dad, GiGi, Uh Oh, Thank You when he wants to. He can sign: MORE & PLEASE too. He is so patient and sweet, he is so content to sit in his little blue chair at the counter and eat or play while we do whatever we need to. He now has 6 teeth! He is loving his front teeth because he can actually get bites of his food. He has 4 across the top and 2 on the bottom. His favorite book is "Pat the Bunny". He Loves trucks/cars - he pushes them all over the floor, its the cutest thing!
